Hiya, today I have a couple of cards for you, all with a common theme – Meerkats! Aren’t they just the cutest thing ever?! I just love Meerkats and I have over the years made a couple of cards with them as my focal element so I thought today I would bring them altogether for you to look at.

So we have four quite different cards for you today the only common thing between them is the Meerkat itself. We have a stamped scene card, a shaped card and a card for the boys too. So before I show you the first card I wanted to bring to your attention this CD rom by Rob Addams. I haven’t actually got a card here today made using the CD but I thought if you liked Meerkats as much as I do then you are sure to love this CD. Click the photo to go to his site if you are interested in purchasing (just as an aside I am not affiliated in anyway to Rob Addams this is purely because I thought you might like it!)

So the first card is one that I made from a gorgeous stamp set that I have had for ages and sadly I can’t remember who made it – so sorry. I was trying out scene making, this is an old card and was one of the first stamp scenes I had made. I made my background and then stamped and cut out the other elements inc the Meerkats and hills. The whole card is A4 in size so it is a whopper of a card but I think it turned out great don’t you?

The second, third and fourth cards were both made from a Hunkydory card kit but as you can see they are very different. One is a really fun birthday card for a boy or a football mad girl, the next is an adorable get well card and finally we have a fabulous stepper card :-

So I hope you liked our cute Meerkat Cards and I would love to hear what would be your favourite animal card? I have some more animal cards in the pipeline for you so you might find there is some inspiration to come in those for you. Anyway thats it for today, so hugs and have a great craft day,
