Hey guess what!? Yeah that’s right it’s the 1st December and it is the official start the holiday season! Yay! And I am just so super excited! I just love Christmas time. We have got our Christmas decorations out over the weekend and I will be putting these up very soon if not today and and I can’t wait for it to look twinkly and bright. It’s always my job to put the tree and decorations up, I just love it! I will post a photograph on Instagram of our tree when it’s all decorated. Just remember to keep checking Instagram because there is always exclusive photographs put on there as well as ones you might of seen on my website. You want to be sure that you don’t miss anything!
Now you might also have noticed that this is a video post and yet it is a Monday! Well as those of you who follow me regularly will know in December I always do extra videos. it’s almost like my little Christmas gift to you. And speaking of Christmas gifts I have a whopper of one for you guys coming on 9 December and you have to make sure you come and see what I’ve got for you. I’m going to be launching a fun challenge for all abilities whether you’re a new crafter or Seasoned professional. The results are going to be decided by random.org as I think that’s the fairest way to make the decision – after all how could I possibly decide between all you wonderful ladies and gents?!
For me the most exciting bit is that I have managed to get some wonderful sponsors for you so we have some amazing prizes:- Kit and Clowder, Aurora Wings, Kenny K, Tattered Lace, Iris Washie tapes, Erin Condren and of course Lolli Lulu Crafts. I am just so grateful for all these companies support – whether it be continued or new 🙂
But it doesn’t stop there I also have exciting news because not only do I have a guest designer I also have my very first official member of my design team. And you never know if I’m lucky they might both become official members of my new design team. At the moment their workload is pretty light as this is the only challenge that I have planned at the moment. That said I intend to do more challenges, in fact I hope to do a challenge every fortnight for you. But first things first, I want to get my shop properly up and running, the back catalogue in the video gallery and gallery much more sorted and after that the Monday video a permanent feature. I feel it’s important to get these things done before I move on to doing even more things. That said am so excited to share this challenge with you and I hope that you really enjoy it. So please do come over to the website on the December 9th for the launch and the results will be announced on Christmas day so some of you will be getting even more Christmas gifts thanks to our wonderful sponsors and Lolli Lulu Crafts.
But going back to the video posting schedule you might remember that at the beginning of my website in May that I said that I intended to have a posting schedule of five days a week. Monday, Wednesday, Friday would be for videos, and Tuesday and Thursday would be for photo posts. My plan had always been to have a ‘quick and crafty’ video – under 10 minutes in length preferably but max no more than 15mins (or ‘quack’ as I think of it!) on a Monday; technical, product based or reviews etc on a Wednesday; and finally my normal ramblingly longer videos on the Friday! I felt that that should cover everybody’s favourite style of video?!
However at the moment these extra videos in December will be just that, our usual extra December seasonal treat. But at some point, hopefully by spring, we will be implementing the new schedule of including the new “Quack” Monday video. But for now these extra Monday videos will hopefully give you a taste of what is to come and I hope you enjoy!
