Hi all, so today I have a fun card for you – Grandad Style Fun Wrinklies Card . I love crafting from CDs as the pages are always there and easy to find. I know there is some resistance with some crafters to use CDs but to me the only difference is that I print out my supplies instead of a manufacturer! lol! I find if you use the best quality paper you can that is the key to CD crafting. The printer I would recommend one that has a back feed, to help with being able to print on card easily, and to have a borderless feature. Otherwise it doesn’t need to be anything fancy. Mine was just about £30 and has been printing beautifully for years. Anyway this is a card that I made from the Wrinklies CD Rom, that is full of fun, cheeky images of OAPs getting into lots of mischief:-
So I started off by choosing my images and printing off all the sheets that I needed. I decided that I wanted to use an insert for this card plus a couple of different background papers:-
So then I just crafted with it the same way as I would with papers that I had just in my stash and made this fun card below. I also used the scraps that were left over from the papers I used on the card to line the envelope which I think added a really fun element to the card. It proved very popular, as it always does with these Wrinklies cards:-
So what do you think? Have I convinced any cd sceptics out there to wanting to use CDs? So hugs to you all and have a great craft day,
ps I would like to enter this card into the following challenges:
