Simon Says Stamp Easter Card

Hiya, today I have for you is a elegant Simon Says Stamp Easter Card for you. This card was inspired by one I saw on the Simon Says Stamp website so I decided to do my own version.

So for this card I used for Simon Says Stamp Easter kit which included both stamps and dies, see the product list at the bottom of this post for details of the actual product used.

I started off with a piece of the Simon says Stamp heavyweight white card stock which I cut in half then scored and folded in half to create a 5.5″ x 4.25″ card base. For the inside I cut a piece of lavender American Crafts card at 5 3/8″ by 4 1/8″, and then a white piece at 5.25″ x 4″. I then stamped my sentiment in my Violet Colorbox Pigment Ink. As a final touch on the inside I stamped the little Christian fish onto the yellow American Crafts card stock using my Scattered Straw Distressed Ink and then I die cut that out and stuck it in the top right corner.

Next onto my white piece of card stark cut at 5.25″ x 4″ I stamped various crosses from the stamp set using various coloured inks. Again see the list below for all the product details. Once all the crosses were stamped I took the large cross die and cut into my stamped piece to create a 3-D cross element on this card. So then I simply stuck down a piece of yellow American crafts card cut at 5 3/8″ x 4 1/8″ followed by sticking down the white piece of card with out the cross die cut piece which I then stuck down using my 3-D glue gel to give it that height. As finishing touches I added some pearls and some wink of Stella to the card.
