Hiya, well today we have the second of our ‘QUACK’ (QUick And Crafty) videos for you. As I said last week at the moment these are just for December as my Christmas gift to you. However it is my intention to make this a permanent feature at sometime in the future, I would be interested therefore to know what you think of these quicker crafty videos?

Anyway to today’s card and video we have a gorgeous elegant looking card made using products from both my shop and Simon Says Stamp. The initial inspiration for this card was in fact the embossing powders. I have been looking for some time for embossing powders that were basically foolproof! I am pretty rubbish at embossing with powders as opposed to folders 🙂 and therefore needed something that would work well and easily. I found some over the summer that I really loved and have been testing them for these last couple of months. I’m really pleased with the results and therefore I am now not only going to be using them in my videos but I am also now bringing them into my store. You may have seen that I have used them in some projects over Halloween also and just how lovely they looked in those projects. Anyway I thought the blue card with the white etc embossing powders looked gorgeous for Christmas and that the Simon Says Stamp Christmas die and stamp set would be perfect to finish it off. So as always with a video post we will first have the video followed then by lots of photos for you. So here is our Simon Says Stamp Christmas Snowfall Card : –

And now here are the photos of our Simon Says Stamp Christmas Snowfall Card : –

    • thank you Trish glad you liked 🙂 Make sure you check back tomorrow as I have a big surprise in store !!

  1. So very pretty and frosty. I just bought the snofall stencil to use with texture paste. Love that you showed it with embossing powder, I wouldn’t have thought of that. Simple enough that you could mass produce but looks like it’s more involved.

    • thank you my lovely – and of course the even easier way with this embossing powder is to skip that step completely and just sprinkle and heat from underneath each time xx

      • Thanks, I’ll try that. I tried embossing powder and it was a disaster. I put it on watercolor paper and it seemed to leave just a flat glitter/glimmer behind…:(

        • I was always having problems and then found these hence why in store, wait and bit as more going in, plus I am going to get the ones with the chunky bits you saw on this card and then use your voucher to try some. I think you will suddenly realise it has been the powder not you when you use these, i did 🙂

  2. Amanda, your card is beautiful! Love the color and all the sparkly bits! Love how you have your page here so christmasy, the falling snowflakes are awesome!

    • Glad you like it, and do check in tomorrow for the launch of my first challenge with lots of fab sponsors – hope you will take part ? Im so nervous no-one will join in lol! xoxo
