HI Guys, today I have something a little different for you as I have a card made using the wonderful Clarity Stamps. I love Clarity Stamps and actually they were some of the first stamps that I purchased for colouring in. I didn’t really understand what I was doing then but I just loved what Barbara Grey did and thought I would try. I don’t know why I haven’t shared them with you before but anyway here is one for you now. Actually just as I typed that I remembered my Clarity Stamp Christmas Card Video that I did for you last year which again was very typical of Barbara’s scene building style that she almost encourages by the style of her stamps. I will pop the Christmas video below for you just in case you missed it.

Anyway today I have a Clarity Stamp Scarecrow Stamped Card that I had stamped out ages and ages ago and completely forgotten about – go figure!  I coloured it with Copics and all the grasses behind and in amongst the corn were all free hand flicks and I was rather pleased with the effect Also to add it was stamped on the Clarity Stamp paper which has a really shiny surface which makes for a very different colouring experience. I think although Barbara does accent with pro markers she mostly does ink work etc so that is why the paper is shiny I guess. To finish I simply mounted using Hunkydory card stock. BTW If you want to take a look at Barbara’s  stuff and demos etc then click HERE otherwise to todays card 🙂

And just before we finish here is the Christmas Video I talked about above and I hope you enjoy that too 🙂

Well I hope you enjoyed this slightly different style of stamping and colouring, I know I enjoyed making it. I would love as always to hear your comments. Have a great craft day, hugs,

I had fun watching you do your card. I was with you all the way. I feel that the glitter and things you did that way really helped to tie the picture all together. It had a unified feel to it. And I loved the sparkle too. Somehow I just love glitz, glitter and sparkly. It brought it all to life. Perhaps a bit of glitter on just a small part of her hat would top it off.
It really pulled the tree together as the tree felt too naked without it. I liked the finished results and cutting it down in size also was good. I wonder what it would look like if it was done with an oval effect. Like the frame could have a large oval in it and the picture underneath as if you were looking into the past through the oval shape to your picture. Love it and it sparked my imagination too. pat

    • Thank you Pat and what a good idea about the oval. The card you are talking about was from last year but I just added here cos I had originally said I hadn’t shared any clarity stamp work with you guys and then I remembered I had so thought would just pop the video on here too. Im glad you liked it though and hope you liked mr scarecrow too. hugs xx
