Hi guys, I have got a beautiful card for you to today, even if I do say so myself! lol! You may remember I participated in a Kit and Clowder Live Colour and coloured in the cute Whimsy Flower girl digi. I showed you the results of that colour on a previous post about the Kit and Clowder classes and on some of my other social media. This is the finished image and the colours that I used:
I know it took some time but I have finally put it together in a card. I wanted to carry on with my pledge to try different shaped cards so I delved into the Hunkydory Blank Shaped card box again and this time found a gorgeous 6 x 6 gatefold card. I thought that would be perfect for this image, where I would have her on the inside as a really nice surprise to the card. I picked out some paper and a dies from Spellbinders and Tattered Lace and set to work. I just love Basic Grey and I am in love with Tattered Lace Dies. I have never known such detail dies just fall out like butter off a hot knife. Always so perfect. So definately don’t be put off thinking they will be hard dies to work with cos they are so intricate:-

So that is our card for today. What do you think of her? This is one of my first pieces coloured with the new techniques I am learning. The key is to take what you learn and then make it into your style. After all we are learning technique not style.
