Hi there 🙂 As promised I have some more from the stunning Hunkydory Autumn Collection for you – the cutest Hunkydory Autumn Teddy Card.  He just the sweetest 🙂 I have been really enjoying making the cards with this kit and the colours are just so rich and all the different elements, such as the acetate or inserts etc, all work together so well to help get even more value out of the main kit. I have to say I am a summer girl, I love the warm sun and the lovely summer colours of the plants, flowers and the bright blue sky. Although I love living in a place in the world that does have seasons, all though often it is a case of winter rain or summer rain lol, I do love the heat and warmth of a good summer. We have been lucky this year with our summer and although we are still having warm sunny days you can tell the Autumn isn’t far off – well Downton Abbey is back on our screens for starters!! Love Downton – I can tell you all what happened if you like?! lol!!

Anyway back to what I was saying was that I normally rather dread the end of summer and the start of Autumn because that means winter is not far off with short dark days with the changing of the clocks back from BST to GMT, but this kit has reminded me of the beauty of Autumn and I am actually very lucky to live in the New Forest so should get to see plenty of gold, orange and reds. I am definitely going to try  to find some time to go out and take some photos of my own so I can use my own Autumn images on my cards. And you never know t might be a really snowy winter which I do love 🙂

Anyway to todays card and the cutest Hunkydory Autumn Teddy Card. It is one of those really simple yet effective cards to make. A perfect e.g. of what I always say about the quality of the materials doing the work for you. I think good quality is helpful to all level of crafter but newbies especially, you should use the best you can, so that when you see your finished card, you are proud and encouraged. You will never make something fabulous if you use rubbish materials. What is that old saying about you can’t make a silk purse from a sows ear! Well that is true for our crafting.

So I took one of the A5 card bases from the kit I showed you in the Autumn Haul and added half of a piece of the foiled pattern card stock from the kit, to the front. Then I got two sheets of the complimentary inserts to my Topper, putting one inside and chopping one up to use as a layer on the front of the.  Before putting this and the topper onto the front I added the border and sentiment. I then put Pinflair Glue Gel on the back of both the Teddy topper and the chopped up insert, and held them above the card and worked out their relative positions and then opting first the ‘insert’ on the card then the teddy topper. I think for a simple card it looks stunning, so rich and opulent – just hope my customers and the craft fair think so lol
