Hi All, todays card I was going for a nice clean and simple look to hopefully show that even if a card is simple if you use the right things it can still look amazing. This card is made using artwork from Joanna Sheen’s Faye Whittaker Cd rom and I think this image is perfect for summer birthdays and just because cards. I simply printed the image out on good quality photo glossy paper and cut the image to size put on the front of a pre-shaped blue card (with matching coloured envelope – I always think a coloured envelope makes such a difference don’t you?) Added a small scrap of  white tulle to act as a small embellishment and that was it.

So I hope you like my simple card, I thought it would be nice for a change to have something a little cleaner looking plus more simple to make for those that perhaps are not as experienced at craft or for those of us, like me, who just sometimes like to make nice simple cards.

Finally before I sign off I want to say that I wish to enter this card into the following challenges:

SSS Wednesday Anything Goes

Fan-tastic Anything Goes

Crafting from the Heart Anything Goes 29

The East Wind beach Challenge

Have a great craft day,

  1. I agree Amanda – sometimes it’s nice just to take the relaxed route!! I love the scene you’ve chosen and the extra little embellishment is all it needs!

Thanks for joining in at Simon Says Stamp ANYTHING GOES challenge.

    Hugs,
