Hi all my lil Lolli-ettes, how are you today ? 🙂  I have for you today a lovely Cricut Get Well Card that is following on from yesterdays post about the Universal Overlay. I have to say using it, once I did understand the book and how it all worked together (see here if you want more info on how it works) that I personally think it is a big improvement on the normal overlays. It made the whole process so much faster and easier. I used my Cosmic Shimmer Glue to stick all the layers together as I was not wanting any dimension for the lower layers, then I used my Pinflair Glue Gel for the Umbrella. Anyway this is a simple card from the Cricut Creative Everyday Cards Cartridge and I hope you like it. Lastly tell me what you think of the Universal Overlay?

  1. It looks really cute Amanda, I like how the holographic paper makes shimmery raindrops too. I have a silhouette cameo, so no overlay here, but it looks simple enough to use :o)

    • thank you, I was dead pleased with that effect too. I was so excited when I came across the holographic card as I had forgotten I had it and I just thought it would be perfect for that layer. But it came out even better than I thought, tfc hugs Amanda
