Hello Lolliettes, and how are you all today? I have a fabulous Christmas Project for you today made on the whole using Sue Wilson dies with a touch of Tattered Lace. I just love this years Sue Wilson’s Festive dies and I hope you will love the project I made with them too.

I went for a very delicate look using a Soft Aqua and Winter White palette.  I used the lovely soft Milk coloured card from Creative Expressions, Mint Macaron from Stampin’ Up and a couple of different coloured papers from the Papermania Festive Frolics pack. I started off by making a frame for my card base (8″ x 8″) using the Tattered Lace Essentials Large Square Dies. For the Mint Macaroon frame I used die No 7 and No 5, and then for the frame layer in the Snowflake paper I used die No 6 and No5 and matted them together. UPDATE 19.01.16 I now have the Sue Wilson Pierced Noble dies so would use these instead to make my frames because then I would have all that lovely piercing on the frame that would match my oval centre.

With the inner squares left behind from the frame I took the Snowflake paper one and cut that down just a little smaller by using die No4 and then matted that onto the Mint Macaron. This as you see I used later on the inside, layering it up onto the snowflake paper that I cut into a square using die No6 so it was slightly smaller than the 8″ square so it had a nice white mat around the edge too.

The rest I think is pretty self explanatory from the video, I just wanted to be sure with all these squares that you had all the die sizes. So now really it is to our Sue Wilson Festive Dies Christmas Card Video:-

Well I hope you enjoyed this card, I always love making cards with Sue’s dies. She always makes them so versatile and I love how each card turns out so different. Of course as always before I say goodbye I will show you a whole heap of photos, and don’t forget that although they are all set out like a muddled up jigsaw, just click on one and you will see it bigger, then you can click on the play button if you want and just sit back and watch as the photos go past:
