Hiya, today is Aprils Card Kit of the Month by Simon Says Stamp and this month I have two cards for you. This card is making the most of the Gold Kraft Paper included and the gorgeous colours of the rub ons. I think it turned out really funky and maybe if you changed up the pink it could be a very good masculine card, but you tell me what you think.
Just before we get going with the card I do want to say that this is going to be the last kit of the series. I do love the kits but my intent is to try and keep up a variety of things for you to see and I think that we have done enough of the kits now for you to have got an idea of what they are like. I still will be doing projects using Simon Says Stamp products as I do love their stuff.
Anyway lets get on with todays card. So I started off with an A6 pre-scored Kraft card which is approx 4″ x 5 3/4″. To this I added a mat of the pink card from the kit which measured 3 3/4″ x 5 1/2″, followed by a piece of the Gold Kraft Paper, also from the kit, measuring 3 1/2″ x 5 1/4″.
Next I made my band that was to go across the card. Taking first a piece of the Orange card from the kit, 4″ x 2″, then matting onto that some of the Gold Kraft, 4″ x 1 3/4″, followed lastly by the Aqua Card, 4″ x 1 1/2″ that I had already added the rub on onto. Next I pierced a hole and added my star brad through all the layers. Next I attached this piece across the card using foam tape. Finally I added a few crystals around the sentiment, again an element you could leave off if you wanted to make it a mans card. So here are the photos of our Simon Says Stamp April Kit Kraft Foil Card :
Then finally I just added a little something to the inside :
So I hope you liked the penultimate Simon Says Stamp Monthly Card Kit Card and don’t forget to pop back on Friday for the final one which is a fun Acetate card made from the kit. But for now hugs and have a great craft day,

love that metallic craft cardstock, really makes the card stand out Amanda :o)
Yes I liked that too, and it was so shiny in real life 🙂
Love your use of the metallic cardstock. this could easily be a masculine card like you said by changing out the pink for another color.
I thought so, and they seem to be a card type that is hard to design, Thats why Im doing my Mens Monday series, I love doing guys cards so its going to be fun I hope 🙂
