Hi ya, today I have got, as promised, the snowman from the Cricut Explore Christmas kitsch Anna Griffin cartridge. As I said when we did our card set video last week these videos have been shown out of order. I actually made this card and video first and loved the cartridge so much that I then went ahead and made the Christmas card sets. However don’t be put off from watching this video it is quite different concept to the video that we did with this cartridge last week. Last week I was focusing on the bulk making aspect of card making where as this weekI am focusing specifically on how to use the cricut explore, design space and the “make it now” projects. Also the card itself is a completely different look to the previous snowman card in that I have used Anna Griffin Christmas patterned paper and of course I actually didn’t show you the putting together of the snowman anyway.

Plus I actually make the envelope that goes with each of these cards on the cartridge in this video project so you will get to see that element as well, because you may remember I removed the envelopes in the previous project because I wanted to use standard sized envelopes for ease because I was bulk card making. So as always with a video post I will have to video here for you first followed by some photographs. So here is our Cricut Explore Christmas Kitsch Snowman Shaped Card : –

So I hope you have enjoyed today’s card and that you can see that the same design can look so very different when made using different papers and card stock. So for now hugs and have a great craft day,

I just think this card is so jolly and full of fun. Love the way he was put together and it showed me more how things are done. I have an explore now but have had no time to use it yet. Too much going on at home to get settled before I can have the peace to sit and play with Explore. I so enjoy all the cards you’ve been doing with your Explore and you make it so fun looking I really want to get in there and play.
I love when you moved the little snow man and made him talk. I do those things too. I guess we still have our playful child alive and well in us. thanks for the demo. It really helps me to get motivated.

    • Im glad it helps and when I get a bit more familiar I intend to do a series on it like i have done for the silhouette (silhouette seminars) to go through step by step how to use the cricuts – the explore, the expression and the mini, 🙂

  2. So cute! You make it look so easy. I think I’ll finally take my Explore out of the box and try this. I have the cartridge and paper. Now you’ve given me the confidence to try it myself.

    • oh you bad girl take it out the box this instant!! and get playing, This cart is an Anna Griffin one which is why we like it I guess 🙂
