Hi guys, well today is Armistice Day, Remembrance Day or Poppy Day however you like to call it. Now I did think about doing a poppy card or something more serious but then thought it would be nice to use some Vintage themes of the Saucy Pin Up Girls. So I had a couple of options that I found over at Crafts U Print but went for the Alice May Sailor Girl one and made a Remembrance Day Hello Sailor Card . You got 2 sheets one with the base layer for a square card and then your decoupage sheet which also had sentiments on. I didn’t use the sentiments but added my own by typing it on the digital base layer. I then put both sheets into my silhouette studio, did a trace of the pieces to get the silhouette to do the work of all the cutting out. And it worked perfectly 🙂    DON’T FORGET TO CLICK ON PHOTOS TO MAKE THEM LARGER ETC 🙂

So then I got my 6 x 6 card base glued the base layer on and then built up the decoupage using my Pinflair glue gel and my Martha Stewart Bone folder to give a bend and shape to the decoupage pieces. There were a few pieces left over, I had cut them not realising they were not part of the decoupage so I popped them on the inside. And that is the finished card – Remembrance Day Hello Sailor Card :

So I hope you like the card and I would love to see if you have made any remembrance cards, in the meantime have a great craft day,
