Hi Guys, I have a real pretty one for you today. I have a few that I have saved up to show you and todays one is the so sweet Saturated Canary Neveah digi. I really like this one, oh heck I like all Krista’s images. I always think I have found my favourite and then I see another one and think ‘no that one is my favourite’. Does anyone else have that problem?

So for todays card I printed out the image on my marker card and I don’t know the exact size I printed her as I just worked it on screen to fit nicely on an A5 card. I then coloured her with these pro markers:-

{And don’t forget to click the photos to see them larger – they are deliberately smaller on this page so it doesn’t take forever for the page to open 🙂 }

I then used my gorgeous spellbinders Imperial Gold Die to cut around the coloured digi.  I’ve added this video from last year that shows this die and I have actually cut this image to demo them 🙂

A close up of the imperial gold dies’ cut. The inking really emphasises the de-bossing doesn’t it?

So then I moved on to making my card ready for the image. So I started with a piece of Hunkydory card stock that I scored and folder in half to create an A5 card. As I often do I put the colour on the inside of the card as this creates a really easy inside that isn’t going to be a boring dull white inside. I do think that it must be disappointing as a recipient to have been given this amazing card on the front and then they open it up to a nothing inside. On this occasion wanting to have that little extra I chose a lovely foiled patterned piece of card and then later added even more decoration to it, using the die shown as a label for the sentiment or message. So as the front is white I had to cover all of it with my patterned paper which I took from the pad below – such a nice set, I do love those annual K&Co sets. They put the whole years collection in one set which is really nice. On the plain coloured card I used this really lovely embossing folder shown below to give that added texture.

I added the papers in the design that was based around a sketch I had done months ago and then stamped the sentiment on before adding the other elements. Next I placed my image on the card, then finally adding the binding tape, flowers and gems etc. I think it turned out really pretty and I am loving the almost beachy colouring of the card. What do you think?

So thats the card for today, however I do have more that I made and have held back from showing you so I could post them on here. I hope you like this and I would love you to show me your Saturated Canary cards – but don’t forget make sure you watermark your photos before uploading them, And never upload any uncoloured images the artists do not like this as the images are too easily used without the person purchasing them 🙂 If your are not sure about watermarks and how to go about it then take a look here where I go through in detail.

Anyway I hope you liked the card, see you soon, and have a nice craft day,
