Hi all, today I have a fun card of a Distressed Solar System Card. I made it using my new distress markers, some water colour card, die-versions die and of course just a little glitter 🙂 The card started out from the idea of wanting to use my distress markers again and I loved the idea of ‘making’ my own pattern paper from them. I also had these fab new dies, to me anyway, in my store, and really wanted to use this solar system one, so the background paper idea I had and this die seemed to create a perfect fit. I was surprised how much fun it was to do, I don’t really do ‘messy’ crafting, although my die cutting will always be my first love. Although I think in hindsight I would not have used the black card stock for the layering, cos in life it does make it seem a bit dark. You might notice that I added some more glitter to the card after I had finished filming and that was to try and lighten it up a bit. In particular I went over the black card layer with silver glitter but really I think it needed a pop of colour.
