Hi all, so being inspired by this wonderful long summer we are having I thought I would make this pretty Summertime Embossed Bumble Bee Card. On a white 6″ x 6″ Lavender card blank I added a piece of Core-dinations aqua textured 6″ x 5″ card embossed it using the gorgeous Bee Cuttlebug embossing folder which is 7″ x 5″ so embossed in one go.
I gently buffed the surface to bring out the bees, added a sticky back ribbon (tucking the little ends just around underneath the edges – I should have done this before sticking it down but as I used a wet glue it lifted up ok) and a row of sticky back gems. It came as a one line so it was easy to stick. Next I added a sentiment stamp from Pink Cricut and finally some silk flowers and one final gem in the centre.
I think it turned out real pretty and summery and I love that embossing folder. Also to say I want to enter this into the following challenges:
