Hiya, well it’s that time of month again for our Simon Says Stamp Monthly Card Kit posts. Today is our video post and tomorrow is the photo post.
The kit this month is still wintery but not Christmassy which is really nice. The contents you can see in more detail in the photo below but inc. a stamp set, some perfect pearls, a white ink pad and some lovely card and paper:
Although this is a lovely lovely kit and the papers are really nice it is not a kit that really does it for me, its just not my sort of thing and I wasn’t feeling all that inspired by it. I am not a massive purple fan and I am also not a massive fan of perfect pearls. I am not sure if I missed something but I did not understand why there was white ink with perfect pearls because you need the perfect medium ink for stamping and dusting with the pearls?! But maybe thats because a lot of people subscribe to the kits and got the perfect medium last month?! But if you don’t subscribe then I guess you have to find your own or its equivalent. But that said I think the two cards I came up with turned out really nicely and this one was the one I used personally to send to my godfather. Im afraid as I said though I didn’t get too inspired this month so its just the video and photo post this month, no exclusives on Instagram – well from this kit anyway, plenty of other exclusives on there 🙂 So for now though enjoy the video of our Simon Says Stamp January Card Kit Post Card and don’t forget to pop back here after you finish for the photos:-

Hi Amanda! I agree, that kit isn’t looking very inspiring, but I like what you came up with :o) Love that patterned paper booklet, I’ve seen it on a few videos. It’s nice to see different ideas :o)
For me it is the one style of crafting Im not really into, all that messy inking, spritzing etc I guess that is why I like my die cutting machines so much – nice and clean lol!
Such a cute idea! Love the paper you chose. I had to giggle though as I’ve never used Perfect Pearls but I ordered some and they arrived today… then I saw your video. Now I don’t have to ask you how to use them… lol.
