Hiya, today I have a clean and simple card for you using some beautiful paper from the basic grey range, Spellbinders dies,Simon says Stamp stamp set and some craft card.  I thought I would like to make a more simple looking card – although often these simple looking cards I’m not the most simple to make! In my thinking this CAS card had a more natural to feel to the card which immediately led me to Kraft card stock.

This then led me to the Basic Grey paper pack that you will see in the video and as they say the rest is history! So I hope you enjoy this video of my CAS Basic Grey celebrate card : –

And now as always here are the photographs including the close-ups, and don’t forget you can click on the photographs to enlarge them. Once you click on them they filled the screen and you can then click on the button in if the corner to super enlarge it all the button at the bottom to run through the photos as a list.

This card is sophisticated and sleek to me. I feel it could be used for all kinds of people for different situations. It’s tailored and so I feel it could be used for a mans card too but maybe a different color for the ribbon or maybe cording. I like it. Love the colors too

    • I love your idea of changing the tape to cord and maybe ‘manning’ up the paper a bit to make it to a guys card. Thx for the inspiration, love it when you ladies give me ideas back xxx

  2. The card has a simple elegance that I really like. I love the paper pack and the patterned paper you chose has a bit of an Anna feel to it. So glad you used your Crop-a-Die, I just bought one and haven’t used it yet. That was a really original touch on the card. If you did a masculine version could you lace the cord through the eyelets?

    • The crop a mile is a fab tool and is sooooo strong. I couldn’t be without mine, you will really like it I’m sure, I def think you could use cord, funnily enough someone else suggested something similar but using the cord where the binding is. Hugs sweet friend xx
