Hi guys I just love ‘witty’ sentiments that play on words, and ‘EWE’ has so many ways to be used. Normally I find that they just seem to cry out for my cricut cuts but this time I used a digi stamp from Digi Stamp Boutique (DSB). In fact I used the same image and a similar card style on both the Thank EWE and the Happy Birthday to EWE cards. The Digi is called ‘spring lamb’ – so super cute, I love the digi’s in the DSB but if you want this one I’m afraid when I went to find the link for you for this post I couldn’t find it, so I think it must have been retired 🙁 But it is still worth checking out the store as it has loads of super digi stamps. Click here to go take a peek 🙂
So I printed the stamp onto marker card stock and then coloured using a mixture of my ProMarker Flexx markers and Copics. You can see from the photo I used quite a few greys for this little sheep but I think it turned out well. I then cut out the sheep from the card using the spellbinders below and also made use of the tag die to cut out the sentiment I had also printed on the car. These Spellbinder tag dies are one of my favs.
And then to the finished cards. The first one is a Thank EWE card. Sorry I can’t remember what card pack this patterned card is from sorry – Im just soooo BAAAAAA..d! lol!
And then the Birthday Card using the gorgeous Martha Stewart Punch and Anna Griffin patterned card stock:-
So thats the cards for today, I hope you liked them, which one is your favourite? And what is your favourite ‘witty’ sentiment or phrase? would love to hear. Anyway have a fabulous craft day and I will see you again tomorrow,
hugs
Hi Amanda, I am not sure if it is my computer/service but I am not seeing the images of your cards. I can see the two photos of the markers…but the others are just blank squares IMG_### on the top right corner. It is probably my service and I will check back again. I just thought i would mention it just in case it was something else.
sent you a private email on this Val hun xoxo
They are both so cute!
thank you sweet 🙂
Both cards are very cute! Love the simplicity of the stamp… then you can jazz up the paper accessories!
I know I loved this digi too, shame it seems to no longer be available 🙁
Amanda this is so cute!
thank you hun xoxo
